Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of EthicalFusion (ethicalfusion.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

EthicalFusion provides free online tools: calculators, converters, text, image, PDF, developer, SEO and YouTube utilities. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and we do not promise that any tool will always be available.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the tools for anything illegal, or to process content you have no right to use;
• send automated or bulk requests to our tools or APIs, or try to get around the request limits we apply;
• attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers;
• copy the site as a whole or present our tools as your own service.

Your content

Text, images and files you use in the tools remain yours, and so does the output you create. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use anything you process. Most tools run in your browser, and our Privacy Policy explains what happens to the input of the few tools that use our server.

Accuracy and no warranty

We work to make every tool correct, but the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Results from calculators, converters and other tools may contain errors, and you should check anything important before relying on it. Our Disclaimer explains the limits of the financial, health and other tools in more detail.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, EthicalFusion is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or its tools, including lost data, lost profits or decisions made on the basis of a tool's output.

Third-party services

The YouTube tools use the YouTube API Services, and by using them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The site shows ads from third-party networks and contains links to other websites, including affiliate links. We are not responsible for the content, products or policies of those third parties.

Our content and embedding

The site's design, text and code belong to EthicalFusion. You may embed a tool on your own website using the embed code we provide on each tool page, as long as the credit link stays in place.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
