How to Extract One Page from a PDF (Save a Single Page)

PDF & Documents · Jul 8, 2026 · 13 views

You need page 4 of a 30-page PDF — just that one page, as its own file. Emailing the whole document is overkill. Here's how to extract a single page from a PDF for free.

Extract the page you need

Open the Split PDF tool, upload your file, and enter the page number (e.g. 4) — or a small range like 4-6. Download a new PDF containing just those pages. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

One page vs a few pages

Enter a single number for one page, or a range (4-6) or list (4,8,12) to pull several. The output keeps only what you asked for, in order.

The other way: delete the rest

If you want to keep most of the document and drop a few pages, it's faster to remove them with Delete Pages from PDF than to list every page you're keeping.

Not sure of the page number?

Open the PDF in any viewer to find it, or check the total with the PDF page counter. Page numbers here are the document's real page positions, starting at 1.

After extracting

Combine your extracted page with others using Merge PDF, or shrink it with Compress PDF before sending.
