Thanks for the feedback!

Instagram Bio Generator gives you four ready-made bio layouts built around your niche, each with emojis and a call to action. Type what your account is about, such as fitness, travel, home baking or coding, and use the results as a framework to personalise rather than a finished bio.

The four layouts

Enter your niche and press Generate bios. For "fitness" the result is:

✨ Fitness | Dream big
📍 Your city
👇 Latest drop below

🚀 Helping you master fitness
💡 Tips every week

Building in public 🛠

In the tool, the options are separated by lines of dashes. The first and third layouts capitalise each word of your niche, while the second and fourth use it exactly as you typed it. With the box left empty, the niche defaults to "creator". Each layout keeps its line breaks, which paste correctly into Instagram's bio field.

Turning a template into your bio

Some lines are placeholders, and a few make promises your profile has to keep:

  • "📍 Your city": replace with your real city or area, like "📍 Pune". For local businesses this line matters more than any slogan.
  • "Latest drop below" and "Free guide ⬇": use these only if a link in your profile leads to that product or guide. Instagram lets you add up to five links.
  • "Building in public": this phrase means openly sharing the progress of a project or business, so it suits founders and makers, not every account.
  • "DM for collabs": invites brands to message you. Add an email address if you'd rather keep business enquiries out of your DMs.

A home baker in Pune might end up with: "Eggless cakes & cupcakes 🎂 | Pune / Order 2 days ahead 📦 / 👇 Menu & prices". That keeps the layout of the first template but tells a visitor exactly what's on offer.

What a strong bio covers

  1. Who you are or what you do, in words people would search for.
  2. What followers get: recipes every Sunday, workout plans, honest gadget reviews.
  3. Proof or detail: a certification, years of experience, the languages you post in, or the cities you deliver to.
  4. A next step: visit the link, send a DM, or book a slot.

Instagram has explained that its search matches your query against usernames, bios, captions, hashtags and places, so plain keywords such as "home baker" or "yoga teacher" are more useful than decorative phrases. The display name above the bio is a good spot for a keyword too, for example "Riya | Home Baker".

Character limit and formatting

Instagram bios are limited to 150 characters, and emojis count towards that. For a one-word niche, each layout here is roughly 55 to 65 characters, which leaves room to add detail. Stylised Unicode fonts can make a bio stand out, but screen readers often read them letter by letter or skip them, so use them for a word or two at most; the Fancy Text Generator creates them. If you're still choosing a handle, try the Instagram Username Generator, and for post text the Instagram Caption Generator.

Frequently asked questions

What is the character limit for an Instagram bio?
150 characters, including spaces, line breaks and emojis. The generated layouts use well under half of that, leaving room for your own details.
How do I add line breaks to my Instagram bio?
Copy a generated bio with its line breaks and paste it into the bio field in the Instagram app; the breaks are kept. You can also press Enter while editing the bio.
Will the same bio be generated for everyone in my niche?
The four layouts are fixed templates with your niche inserted, so other people may get the same wording. Personalise them with your city, offer and style.
Should I put keywords in my Instagram bio?
Yes. Instagram search looks at bios as well as usernames, so plain words describing what you do can help people find your profile.
Can I use fancy fonts in my bio?
You can paste stylised Unicode text, but screen readers may not read it properly. Keep fancy fonts to a word or two so the bio stays accessible.
