Signature Maker
Draw your signature and download it as a transparent PNG for documents and PDFs.
Draw with your mouse, finger or stylus. Download as transparent PNG to place on documents.
Draw once, sign everywhere
Draw your signature with a mouse, finger or stylus, pick your pen color and thickness, and download it as a PNG — with a transparent background so it sits cleanly on any document, or with white background for forms that need it. Everything happens on your device; your signature is never uploaded.
Getting a natural-looking signature
Phone or tablet with your finger beats a mouse every time — sign the way you'd sign paper. Use Undo for failed strokes rather than clearing everything, set thickness 2–3 for a pen-like look, and sign slightly larger than needed; PNG scales down crisply but not up.
Placing it on documents
In Word/Google Docs: Insert → Image, then drag onto the signature line. For PDFs, most viewers (including free ones) support inserting an image stamp. The transparent version overlays printed lines naturally — that's the one you want 90% of the time.
A note on legality
For everyday paperwork — forms, internal approvals, invoices — an image signature is routinely accepted. For contracts requiring strong legal standing, certified e-sign services (Aadhaar eSign, DocuSign) add identity verification that a plain image can't. Know which situation you're in.
Frequently asked questions
Is my signature uploaded or stored?
No — drawing and export happen entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server, and nothing persists after you leave the page.
Transparent or white background — which do I need?
Transparent for placing over signature lines in documents (most common). White for forms that require a plain image on its own.
Is an image signature legally valid?
Commonly accepted for routine documents. For high-stakes contracts, certified e-signature services with identity verification (like Aadhaar eSign) carry stronger legal weight.
How do I add it to a PDF?
Use your PDF viewer's image/stamp insert feature, place the transparent PNG over the signature line, and save. Then flatten/print to PDF if you want it uneditable.
